After the start at the mountain station, it takes around 45 minutes to climb up to Penhab. The ascent is steep, around 190 meters in altitude, after which it is much easier to continue along the ridge to Stoffennieder. There, the view opens up into two quiet side valleys of the Glemmtal. It is precisely this expanse that is the highlight.

Optional summit: Manlitzkogel 2,247 m

If you still fancy a summit, you can continue to the Manlitzkogel (2,247 m) in good footwear. This is the option for those who want to experience a bit more of the alpine feeling.
