Very close. The Reiterkogelbahn is only about 300 meters from the Rosentalerhof and takes you directly up to several well-known bike trails. The Blue Line—an easy trail for beginners—and the challenging Pro Line, among others, start at the midway station. The Skill Trail on the Reiterkogel and the pump track are also just a short ride away.

At the “Home of Lässig,” you’ll find yourself in Austria’s largest biking region. Over 120 km of lines and trails await you, just waiting to be explored. Nine state-of-the-art mountain railways take you up seven different mountains. In Saalbach Hinterglemm, there are six state-of-the-art mountain railways, two in Leogang, and one in Fieberbrunn, which will transport you quickly and comfortably to the most beautiful peaks and trailheads.

In Saalbach Hinterglemm there is a variety of bike trails for every taste and ability level.

  • Hacklbergtrail: With a unique view, perfect gradient and countless waves.
  • Bergstadl Trail: On the Schattberg, perfect for freeriders and enduro riders. With lots of roots, rocks and hairpin bends, this trail is more challenging than the Hacklberg trail.
  • Wurzel Trail: Located in a tranquil setting on the Kohlmais. Easy ups and downs, peppered with roots along the mountain flanks – moments of happiness for root junkies.
  • X-Line: One of the most challenging lines in Saalbach. A combination of steep gradients and great views. Over 6 km you overcome a difference in altitude of 1,025 m.
  • Pro-Line: A challenging run on the Reiterkogel for experienced freeriders. Root sections, tables, drops, and numerous jumps ensure plenty of action.
  • Blue-Line: Ideal for beginners, but faster bikers also appreciate the gradient on the Reiterkogel, where you can leave the brakes untouched.
  • Z-Line: Starts at the Zwölferkogel middle station. An easy to moderately difficult trail with wall rides, northshore passages, waves, tables and a few jumps.
  • Monti-Line (formerly Milka Line): Starts at the Kohlmaisbahn midway station. An ideal freeride run for all ages, perfect for warming up.
  • Sheepy Hollow-Line: Fantastic panorama over 1.1 km, connecting the Westgipfel and the Schattberg. You might even spot a sheep on this downhill ride.
  • Hochalm Trail: Head into the head of the valley and pedal hard uphill for 500 meters. You will be rewarded with a spectacular panorama and an almost endless descent, including small stream crossings, hairpin bends, roots and stone fields.
  • ScheeLeitn-Line: A new trail in the Schönleiten area. It was accessible as an enduro and e-MTB route in 2026; starting in the summer of 2027, it will be accessible via the new Schönleitenbahn.
  • Wildenkaramba Line: A new, natural trail on the Wildenkarkogel and in the Schönleiten area. It, too, will be much easier to reach starting in the summer of 2027 via the new Schönleitenbahn.
  • Bearly Legal-Line: A medium-difficulty red trail on the Schattberg. Over approximately 4.9 kilometers, riders will encounter natural obstacles, man-made obstacles, and flowing sections. It runs from the middle station of the Schattberg X-press toward the valley.
  • Back to Black-Line: A new bike trail on Schattberg and part of the expanded trail network around Schattberg—X-press, X-Line, fAIRy-Line, and Bearly Legal-Line.

Yes. Your bikes are safely stored in our lockable bike room, which is monitored by video surveillance. Everything you need for your next day of biking is also available: A bike wash station ensures your bikes are clean after dusty or muddy rides, and you can perform minor checks and repairs on the repair stand. Drying cabinets for shoes and clothing ensure that even wet gear is comfortably dry again. That way, your bike and gear are ready for the next ride the following morning.

Yes. After a dusty or muddy day on the trails, you can clean your bike right here at our shop. We have a bike wash station and a repair stand available for that purpose. This makes it easy to handle minor repairs and checks on your own.

Yes. Drying cabinets are available for wet shoes and cycling clothes. You can also use the washer and dryer at the Mühlfeld apartment building. This is especially convenient for longer cycling vacations or when the weather isn’t quite cooperating.
