Adults can retreat to the adults-only relaxation rooms, Moos.Raum and Schwebe.Raum, while families can relax in the Pool.Haus, which features a children’s play area and comfortable loungers.

If you’re traveling with friends or family, you can choose between hotel rooms and spacious apartments that accommodate up to 7 people. You’ll also have flexible dining options. Breakfast can be added to your reservation for apartment guests, subject to availability. And when you return from the mountain, our summer bistro is open from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the summer. This makes it easy to round off your day with a hot meal.

In addition to cozy hotel rooms, the Rosentalerhof offers spacious apartments for families and groups of friends of up to 7 people. Especially convenient for larger groups: the large apartments feature two bathrooms. This means there’s significantly less crowding around the shower and toilet in the morning and evening.

For anyone who likes to cook for themselves on vacation, the apartments are fully equipped. In the kitchen, you’ll find dishes, silverware, pots and pans, a filter coffee maker, a kettle, and the essentials like salt, pepper, and sugar. Dishwasher tablets, dish soap, trash bags, and a clothes rack are also provided. There is no oven. However, you can order fresh rolls directly at the front desk or pick them up at the bakery, which is only about a four-minute walk away.

Fresh towels and a free cleaning service are included once a week.

The Finnish Panorama Sauna and the saltwater steam room are available for warming up and relaxing. Adults can enjoy two exclusive adults-only relaxation rooms: the Moos.Raum and the Schwebe.Raum. Families can relax in the Pool.Haus, which features a children’s play area and comfortable lounge chairs.

In Saalbach Hinterglemm, there is a diverse high-rope course with trails for different age groups and skill levels. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Starting at age 16, all trails can generally be used independently.

A minimum height of 130 cm is required for courses 1, 2, 7, and 9. All courses are open to participants who are at least 150 cm tall. Courses 6 and 10 are exceptions; they also require a minimum weight of 50 kg.

A special highlight is the Mega Flying Fox. It is designed for a body weight of 45 to 110 kg. However, depending on the weather, these limits may vary slightly.

This way, families with older children, teens, and adults can find challenges that suit them—from beginner-level climbing features to truly adrenaline-pumping experiences.

Of course we also have a Flying Fox, even a Mega Flying Fox, with which you can whizz through the air at a height of 120 m at 100 km/h. Our Mega Flying Fox is part of Austria’s largest climbing park at the end of the valley in Hinterglemm. On this occasion, you should definitely also visit the Jump & Slide Park with a 35m long slide and an 8m high Jump Tower. Fly’n Soul offers paragliding in Saalbach Hinterglemm.

At the head of the Hinterglemm valley, you have the opportunity to experience canyoning, or as we call it here, gorge canyoning. The tour takes you for 3-4 hours through the impassable river bed of the Saalach, with jumps, rope sections, slides and lots of cold, splashing water. You determine the difficulty yourself, as the tricky passages can be bypassed, making both beginners and advanced rafters feel comfortable in mixed groups.

Just half an hour away, in the Salzburger Saalachtal in Lofer, there are further opportunities for rafting and canyoning.

Biking, Hiking & Athletic Challenges

Saalbach Hinterglemm is Austria’s largest biking region and offers everything a biker could wish for. It’s not just one mountain with a bike park—it’s biking fun across 7 mountains, featuring up to 9 state-of-the-art mountain railways and 120 km of the finest lines and trails.
