And that’s exactly what the Learn to Ride Park in Saalbach Hinterglemm is made for: you practise without pressure, ride short laps, become more confident with every run and suddenly realize how curves, small waves and first drops are fun. It feels like a playground for your bike, except that you end up with real trail skills.

Where you can find it: Tower meadow next to the Kohlmaisbahn

The park is located on the Turmwiese right next to the Kohlmaisbahn in Saalbach. You can get there quickly, even for an hour in between.

The lines: Little Monti, Little Hacklberg and Co.

First a lap of the circuit, then slowly feel your way around the lines. This is exactly how safety grows.

How to get back up: Wonder Carpet or Uphill Flow Route

If your legs are still fresh, you can also try your hand uphill. If you want to take it easy, take the Wonder Carpet and save your energy for the next descent.

Next step: Monti Trail from the middle station, Panorama Trail from the mountain station

Once you have gained enough feeling in the park, the next step comes almost automatically:

Opening hours and costs

The Learn to Ride Park is free of charge, including the conveyor belt.
Opening hours according to saalbach.com: 22.05. until 11.10.2026, daily 09:00 to 16:15.

Back at the Rosentalerhof

After the first few laps of the Learn to Ride Park, the Rosentalerhof feels like a reward: A quick bike service, then off to the pool and let your legs relax again. Later, have a drink on the sun terrace or dinner in our summer bistroEssen& Trinken, while the kids give it their all once again at Montelino’s Erlebnisalm. And if you want to move on tomorrow, you’ll be back on the mountain in no time, with a new sense of security in your luggage.
